This session is being presented by Prof. Gene Miller.\n\n\nGene is a professor of the practice at Brandeis Business School where she teaches leadership and management consulting in the social innovation space. Gene has been leading the board fellow program that has placed board fellows all throughout Waltham.\n\n\n\nShe has served on more than a dozen boards for a mix of not for profits\, corporate and quasi government entities.\n\n\n\nHer work capitalizes on her prior portfolio career that includes serving as an executive vice president for a successful bank turnaround in a dismal era for the industry. She also was one of eight outside trustees that worked closely with management to rebrand and reengineer a high profile hospital that was facing significant challenges.\n\n\n\nGene takes an innovative\, strategic approach to her work. Her passion is developing leadership while simultaneously driving social impact.
