Jennifer Rose is the principal of Downtown Diva, a Waltham-based business that works with downtown organizations, non-profits and small businesses. She developed the Main Streets Database Template, a tool adopted by downtowns across the country. She served as the executive director of Allston Village Main Streets, an urban revitalization program in Boston, from 1996 to 2007, and was later instrumental in the creation of the Downtown Waltham Partnership. Her expertise includes communications and marketing, event-planning and fundraising. She has been a Constant Contact business partner for many years. When not working to revitalize downtowns and small businesses, Jennifer is a poet and writer. She is the author of two books, The Old Direction of Heaven and Hometown for an Hour.

Jennifer will speak about “5 Steps for Holiday Marketing Success,” with an overview of online marketing through websites, listings and reviews, social media, email marketing, content and paid ads. Though primarily intended for retailers and service businesses, attendees from any industry should be able to benefit from this presentation.
